Connecting globally

Bulletin Academic helps its clients make a global impact. We have achieved coverage and enhanced profiles across Europe, the US, Australasia and Asia.

The role of Asia – and China in particular – at the centre of the world economy is becoming ever more apparent. This presents valuable opportunities for any academic institution. Bulletin Academic’s particular strength in Asia means we are ideally placed to help our clients build links with the region and, at its heart, the next global superpower.

We have helped launch academic institutions in both China and Malaysia and have showcased their research across Asia and beyond.

Our resident Sinologist, Chris O’Brien, worked in Beijing for three years, writing for the likes of Forbes, The Economist, China Daily and Asia Weekly and reporting on major stories such as the 2008 Olympics and the Sichuan earthquake. His work for Bulletin Academic is supported by expert translators.

Case study

In the space of a month the School of Contemporary Chinese Studies enjoyed more than a hundred thousand pounds’ worth of publicity, with coverage across China and the Far East, including leading newspaper China Daily. It also featured in The Daily Telegraph, The Independent, the Financial Times, The Washington Post, Parliamentary magazine The House and several publications in Australia. Much of the material was ghost-written by the Bulletin team.

“Bulletin has done an excellent job in raising the School’s profile. One recent article was reproduced across the Chinese media and read by more than a hundred million people – I’ve never had so many citations!”
